TWIN FALLS — Glen Walter Rasmussen, 98, of Twin Falls, died Friday, March 31, 2017, at Bridgeview Estates in Twin Falls. Glen had to quit school after the 8th grade so he could work and help support the family.
Glen was born June 24, 1918, in Declo, Idaho, to Carl Alfred Rasmussen and Eliza Laurinda Larsen. He loved playing his guitar and harmonica and played for thousands of people over the years.
Sandra married John Klingler in 1970, and they moved to Long Beach, California. She was a devoted wife, amazing mother, caring daughter, loving sister, & constant friend. She is survived by her mother, Delores Frey; her husband, Keith A Kelly; her daughter, Heather Jensen; sons, Matthew, Joshua, & Mark Kelly; 2 brothers & 2 sisters, Richard Morrison (Cindy), Michael Morrison, Nancy Scherbinske (Rick), & Georgia Rhinehart (Paul).
She had 12 grandchildren Natalie, Jacob, Vivian, Jono, Brooke Lynn, Jamie Lynn, Kimber Lynn, Kilee, Lexi, Chloe, Brindalynn & Liam, whom she loved and adored.
While he lived at Bridgeview Estates, he spent a lot of time entertaining (and teasing) the other residents and always had his harmonica in his pocket so he could play at a moment’s notice.
He married Winona Stocking in the Logan Utah LDS Temple on April 11, 1939. Rasmussen of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Maureen (Howard) Wallace of Middleton, Idaho.
He was born in Wendell, Idaho to Elmer and Dora (Cooley) Lewis.
